Raikan Ilmu@Heartlands

Raikan Ilmu ("Celebrate Knowledge") is the flagship movement of the Malay community to celebrate knowledge and embrace lifelong learning as part of our culture, marked annually in the month of July.

The celebration will begin with co-located key events: #MakingConnections for professionals, Masyarakat Gemilang Conference for community and youth leaders, YOUth@M³ Networking Session for tertiary students and parents, and MENDAKI Symposium for researchers, policymakers and practitioners.

For families with young children, youth and workers, the celebration will travel to three locations around the island as Raikan Ilmu@Heartlands. Led by Yayasan MENDAKI, in partnership with 60 community, corporate and national partners, Raikan Ilmu@Heartlands features five pavilions each created to provide a wholesome and interactive learning experience.

In conjunction with Raikan Ilmu@Heartlands, the Career Upgrading and Employability (CUE) Fair, will offer job opportunities, skills upgrading opportunities and entrepreneurship guidance for Home-Based Businesses for jobseekers and workers.

Joining in the celebration are fellow Self-Help Groups, CDAC, EA, and SINDA, and students from the Combined Tuition Programme (CTP).

This SG60, let’s learn together, grow together, and build a future-ready community for Singapore.
