Coface’s employees volunteer by running an adaptive sports programme to help seniors stay active through games like disc golf and ladder toss that engage them mentally and physically.

Mummy Yummy – serving kindness one dish at a time Ground-up initiative Mummy Yummy makes sure that no one goes hungry with
their Pay It Forward model where diners will pay an amount they can afford
at the vegetarian stall.

Mr Koh – a retiree turned barista An active senior living in AWWA Senior Community Home, Mr Koh enjoys a
packed schedule filled with social outings and receives nursing and mental
health support.

Shaik, Jeff and Vimala – Kampung Kampus Shaik, Jeff and Vimala enjoyed a fun afternoon caring for a wide variety of plants and vegetables at Kampung Kampus. They also interacted with other volunteers who shared their reasons for regularly tending to the gardens, proving that the Kampung spirit is well alive in our community.

Hazelle and Herman – Pillow Exchange Hazelle and Herman joined other volunteers at Kembangan Chai Chee for a tiring but rewarding afternoon exchanging pillows with residents in need, highlighting that any effort of compassion and care makes a difference in our community.

Youths Celebrating SG60 😎
|
Hashim – Smash Sports Group Hashim started creating content to bring more business to his family’s
sports equipment store while sharing his expertise with budding athletes
in need of advice.
Recently, Hashim and his family started a new F&B business while regularly donating meals to low-income families to fulfil his late mother’s wishes to serve the community.

Jean(Rainbow Center) – inclusion is a journey She encourages Singaporeans to show support for caregivers and people with disabilities.

Suresh & Seelan – a caregiver’s story of love Suresh’s love for his brother Seelan, who has cerebral palsy, inspired
him to share his journey as a caregiver in the hopes that his viewers would
be more understanding and empathetic towards people with disabilities.

Alvin(ifood) – inclusive hiring practices for all Alvin, CEO of ifood - a social enterprise that hires the elderly and people
from marginalised communities, tells us how Providence Cafe teaches their
employees skills that they may use to seek better opportunities elsewhere
and improve their lives.
ifood hopes to continue to provide opportunities to all, regardless of their abilities.

Jeremy – making magic to celebrate SG60 A childhood passion turned into a lifelong profession - Jeremy, a magician who performs on cruise ships, plans to celebrate SG60 by spending time with his family. He encourages fellow Singaporeans to be brave in going against the grain to pursue their dreams.

Apphia – accessorising with our local heritage Apphia turns our local heritage into wearable art in the form of quirky
and unique accessories. She highlights the importance of preserving our
culture for future generations to remember and enjoy.

Cordillia – PitStop Tires A self-confessed novice to the automobile world, Cordillia worked hard
to turn around her family’s second generation automotive shop after the
business waned. She shares her extensive knowledge through educational
content so that viewers understand auto maintenance better.

Nicolas(Namyang Dance Group) – reinventing lion dance for the future generations Due to the lack of live performances during the pandemic, Nicolas decided
to start posting his own content in the hope of keeping lion dance alive.

Satria – Project Pathfinder Through outdoor adventures and life coaching, Satria and his team at Project Pathfinder are empowering ITE youths through mentorships. These efforts have grown into a movement that changes lives, one student at a time.

Narash – guiding youths through Impart Narash from charity Impart, is helping young people overcome tough life challenges, from mental health struggles to domestic violence and homelessness. Through mentorship and community care, he is guiding youths to believe in themselves and give back.
